Tom is a Director for Media Client Services at Vistex. With over 28 years of experience in the media and entertainment industry, he has worked across creative and production, studio finance and royalty accounting, and software solutions, supporting the evolving media landscape. He leads Vistex’s Los Angeles office team, focusing on media, music and brand licensing solutions using the Vistex Rights & Royalties Suite.
Throughout his career, Tom has bridged business and IT across media software initiatives, with unique expertise in accounting, royalties, budgeting and forecasting, and complex financial calculations. He has designed accounting systems for Vistex, advising several major studios and independent distributors on best practices for deploying streamlined business processes and supporting new technology efforts.
Tom advises C-suite project sponsors on overall system architecture and rollout strategies, helping align technology decisions with business, budget, and infrastructure requirements. He has published several articles on media industry trends and the changing and complex business challenges facing content owners and distributors. Tom has also served as a Vistex spokesperson at industry events, including the National Association of Broadcasters, chaired speaking panels at events, and presented to studio executives. He has also presented multiple times at VISTAS, Vistex’s annual summit.
Before Vistex, Tom served as a manager for the Worldwide Pay Television Distribution Finance and Accounting group for Twentieth Century Fox. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Washington.
