Jim Hamilton

Jim Hamilton is an accomplished automotive industry leader with 37 years of experience spanning technology, pricing, and revenue management, including 25 years at a global automotive OEM and five years at a Tier One supplier. His expertise includes vehicle pricing, incentives, billing, revenue collection, and global business transformation.

Throughout his career, Jim has been actively involved in advancing technology and commercial practices within the automotive industry. He previously served on the Steering Board of the SAP Automotive Customer Advisory Council and was a member of the Vistex Inner Circle Customer Advisory Group. He has also presented multiple times at the SAPPHIRE and VISTAS conferences, including a 2022 VISTAS keynote with Vistex CEO Sanjay Shah.

At Vistex, Jim brings his extensive automotive industry experience to customer engagements, solution demonstrations, thought leadership, and market-facing initiatives. His work focuses on helping automotive organizations address complex challenges related to pricing, incentives, and revenue management.

Jim holds a Master of Science in Information Technology from Carnegie Mellon University, where he graduated with highest distinction; an MBA from the University of Michigan; and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Purdue University. He currently serves on the board of the SAP University Alliances North American Academic Community and is an adjunct faculty member at Cleary University.
